Nurturing New Beginnings

Pregnancy and  birth are the first steps of your initiation into motherhood. How you approach this time and how you are supported is paving your journey into early motherhood. This time is both precious and pivitol  - Kali

Hi Dear Woman

My name is Kali

Im a Mother of 2,  Birth Doula  and Ayurvedic Health  Practitioner, specialising in womens health, Pregnancy and Post Partum Care.

I have a background  of 20 years in Body work, Yoga & Meditation. I have been  in the field of pregnancy and post partum care since the birth of my first child 13 years ago and have  been so fortunate to walk beside  many women through their journey  of pregnancy, birth  and rite of passage  into  motherhood.

I am committed to this path of supporting women and families  in the  journey back to physiological birth and smoother transtions into motherhood.

I see pregnancy, birth and the post partum window  as a spiritual experience and gift of growth and expansion. A very special invitation to delve into the inner workings of yourself as a woman preparing for the role of motherhood.  I truly believe the way we birth and then mother,  ripples out to our children and into the society in which they will then grow.

My view is that pregnancy and birth cant be controlled, but can be supported in some ways by how you approach the experience, how much autonomy you wish to bring to the space to claim as yours and your babies journey and who you invite into the space to both support and safeguard this experience for you and your family.

I offer various care packages and mentorship for women and birthing couples from pregnancy, birth support  and post partum.

Whether you are a new mumma or you have had multiple births already, each journey has growth and magic to offer to our feminine human experience and something I am deeply passionate about helping women to harvest this for themselves.

Each birth results in a shedding away of past versions of self in order to make way for a reborn version of you. Women are truly indescribable in this way, and I am always in awe of the beauty of each unfolding.

Birth in its raw and natural form has a way of shattering our hearts and souls wide open to bring growth, wisdom, transformation and to show us the depths of unconditional love and the true power and strength we hold as women.

The way in which I hold space for women is both emotionally and energetically and with deep nurture through body work and ayurvedic practices, care and reverence for every womens unique path and her individual needs.

My intention is to support women who are being called towards wamting to cultivate a  more sovereign and physiological experience into motherhood and are looking to be nurtured and witnessed deeply through holistic practices.

TESTOMINIALS  FROM WOMEN I HAVE SUPPORTED

"When I First Became pregnant with Cosmo, I hired a midwife and thought I was happy to have an assisted homebirth, with someone there to support me.

As my pregnancy unfolded. especially into my second trimester, something deep inside me started to feel that it wasn't the right road for me.

That was a scary and confusing realisation, and I remember feeling almost guilty for even questioning my plan.

Kali was the one who held me through that transition. She never judged me or made me feel wrong. Instead she asked wise, grounding questions, offered gentle suggestions, and gave me space to explore my fears and doubts.

Her support helped me see that I could follow my own intuition.

Because she trusted me, I felt I could deeply trust myself, and that was one of the biggest reasons I felt confident enough  to choose a sovereign free birth for my baby.

Although Kali wasn't physically at Cosmo's birth, Kali was still part of that  moment. We even called her in the middle of the night after he was born and she was right there for us.

In the weeks that followed she became my anchor in post partum: tending to my body, guiding me through my Closing of the Bones Ceremony, yoni steaming, nourishing and caring for me in ways that felt deeply traditional  and loving.

She truly held me through pregnancy, birth and postpartum.  I am forever grateful for the way she saw me as the wise one, and for the way she made it possible for me to birth and mother from that place."

"when Kali quietly entered my birth  space in the middle of the night, I felt a wave of relief wash over me, I smiled for the first time in hours.

She was cool, calm  and collected and just what I needed in the moment to completley shift my energy from some fears that were surfacing, back to my inner confidence. Baby was born shortly after her arrival. My  own mother said to me after, "I knew Kali was the right woman to hold space for you."

Stevie Tawora.

Being held and supported by Kali with my last two babies has been the most beautiful and nourishng journey. It is hard to put into  words, the gratitude I have. Kali holds such a safe space, one that invites you to soften into such a beautiful deep place of being truly supported and seen.

Her care comes from such a deeply embodied place, which was felt by whole heart and nervous system. I had the pleasure of receiving pregnancy body work, birth  attendance , and post partum support such as birth debrief, body work, home visits and nourishing meals and tinctures. I highly recommend Kali to any mother seeking to be deeply nourished and held in one of the most  sacred times of  our life as a woman."
